InvestIN Forum “Members” do the following:

• Participate in the screening committee.
• Provide feedback to the Forum leader who includes that when providing feedback to the entrepreneur.
• Participate in Forums – listening to presentations, participate in “mindshare”.
• Sign up on the interest list for deals on which they wish to perform due diligence.
• Participate in due diligence – mostly together with other forum members.  This includes reviewing documents and plans, calling references, verifying competition etc.
• Make personal decisions as to whether or not to invest.
• Inform the company quickly if they decide to pass.
• Invest - Sign subscription agreements and cut checks.
• Sometimes sit on the Board of Directors or Board of Advisors.
  
• Manage their own portfolios.
• Receive updates from companies in which they have invested.

The InvestIN Forum is not responsible for:

• Raising money for your company – all we can do is enable you to do it more efficiently – angels invest in companies and people/leadership 
• Due Diligence
• The decisions a CEO makes regarding the company strategy and the way those decisions are perceived
• Individual Angel decisions whether to invest or not
• Following up with InvestIN Forum members after you receive the interested parties list. (that’s your job)
