more efficient – less meetings and repetitive explanations are required from

InvestIN
Forum “Members” do the following:
Participate
in the screening committee.
Provide
feedback to the Forum leader who includes that when providing feedback to the
entrepreneur.
Participate
in Forums – listening to presentations, participate in “mindshare”.
Sign up on
the interest list for deals on which they wish to perform due diligence.
Participate
in due diligence – mostly together with other forum members. This includes
reviewing documents and plans, calling references, verifying competition etc.
Make personal
decisions as to whether or not to invest.
Inform the
company quickly if they decide to pass.
Invest - Sign
subscription agreements and cut checks.
Sometimes sit on the Board of Directors or Board of Advisors.
Manage their
own portfolios.
Receive
updates from companies in which they have invested.
